Mixing Dogs is a mix and match flip book with photographs of 20 dogs cut in three parts – the upper and lower part of the face, and the body. By mixing and matching the cut pages to create their own, readers can break the boundary between purebreds and mixed breeds. 

Mixing Dogs is made by the art director Hyunjin Park and the photographer Eunbyeol Lee at ‘Art Lable Studio’ in Seoul, South Korea. In hopes of resolving dog breed discrimination, they have created this work in a humorous manner. 

Mixing Dogs는 3단으로 나눠진 20마리의 강아지의 사진을 자유자재로 섞이게 만든 Mix-and-Match Flip Book이다. 강아지의 얼굴과 몸이 서로 뒤섞임으로써 품종견과 혼종견의 경계는 무너진다. 

Mixing Dogs는 한국에서 ‘아트레이블 스튜디오’ 라는 상업 스튜디오를 운영하고 있는 아트디렉터 박현진과 포토그래퍼 이은별의 작업으로 강아지의 외모나 품종이 아닌 반려 동물 그 자체로 받아들이는 견종 차별 없는 문화가 자리 잡히길 바라는 그들의 생각을 유머러스하게 표현했다.
